Description

You, especially, should come to Appy Hour!

We're always trying to be more productive in our professional lives. We’ve adopted ways and workarounds, both digital and nondigital. Some work well enough; others are terrible. Often we just wish for something better. But who’s got the time to research, test, and investigate the flood of digital products that hope to solve our problems? If you're a small business or an independent, you, especially, know what we're saying.

This joint event from Women's Media Group of New York City and AUTHORS.me of Austin, Texas is a great opportunity to meet, mingle, and learn in a larger group of our comrades-in-business.

Appy Hour is a relaxed way to share our favorite apps with our colleagues and to hear about new ones from them. This “Productivity Edition” of Appy Hour will focus on work applications--whatever you use to stay sane while conducting business. (In other words, not Candy Crush or Headspace!) We’ll draw from the pool of wisdom and experience, like a mini-Consumer Reports.

Bring your laptop, tablet, and/or phone: We’ll ask you to show us your app and tell us why you like it. You can also tell us what you wish an app could do for you; someone in the group may have just the right app solution.

There will be snacks, wine and other beverages, and more. Don’t miss this chance to mingle, share, and learn.

Your first productivity assignment: Get this event into your calendar and RSVP.

Note: Photo ID is required by WeWork Charging Bull, so please bring one with you!
